Total Hip Replacement Revision Surgery


Hip revision surgery is performed in order to replace a worn out, loose, painful, or infected prosthesis. The procedure involves removal of the old prosthesis, preparation of the bone (socket and femur) for the new implant, bone grafting in areas of bone loss, and implantation of the new prosthesis. The aim of surgery is to relieve pain, improve function, and enhance the overall quality of life.
