Thoracic Abdominal Aneurysm Repair is a complex surgical method to replace the diseased aorta. This method involves the opening of the chest or abdominal cavity cavity where the aneurysm is present. Then an artificial graft is introduced to remove the damaged section of the aorta and replacing it with a synthetic tube (graft), which is sewn into place. The affected part of the aorta is layered with extra tissue to make it stronger. This process increases the arterial wall’s ability to stretch and ensured normal blood flow through the aorta.
