SacroCoccygeal Teratoma is a tumor or abnormal growth that occurs at the tailbone while the fetus is still developing. The tumor can grow into a large and are usually benign at the time of birth. But, they can become cancerous if left untreated. A surgical procedure is performed by the pediatric surgeon and the neonatologist to remove the tumor along with the tailbone.
