Surgery for Cranial (base of skull Skull) tumours

Cranial (Skull) tumours are those tumours that grow in the bones of the skull which form the bottom of the head and the bony ridge behind the nose and eyes. If the tumour is benign and can be safely removed, surgery is performed. Generally, minimally invasive endonasal endoscopic skull base surgery is performed, where tumours are removed through the nose without making facial incisions, often using computer image guidance to preserve as much neurological function as possible.
