Simple Closure of Perforated peptic Ulcer is a surgery which is accompanied by Helicobacter pylori eradication to treat perforated peptic ulcer. There are different suture techniques for the closure of the perforation: primary closure by interrupted sutures (covered with or without omentoplasty), plugging the perforation with pedicled omentoplasty (Cellan-Jones repair), plugging the perforation with free omental plug (Graham patch). This surgery may be open or laparoscopic.
