Ranula Excision

Ranula Excision is a surgical process to remove bluish cysts which are formed due to blockages in the mouth’s salivary gland. These cysts can interfere with speaking or swallowing. For large cysts, the doctor will drain the cyst through an incision to decrease swelling. If there is a chance of fluid accumulation, then the doctor removes the parent sublingual gland to prevent the recurrence of cysts.
