Minimal Invasive Hemorrhoidectomy (Stapled hemorrhoidectomy)

Hemorrhoidectomy is a surgical procedure to remove external or internal hemorrhoids. Stapled haemorrhoidectomy is the latest of these procedures, where a circular stapling device is used to remove a circumferential ring of excess hemorrhoid tissue. Stapled hemorrhoidectomy helps the piles get back to their normal position in the anal cavity. Although, it is an inaccurate term since the surgical procedure does not involve removing the hemorrhoids, rather removes the abnormally lax and expanded hemorrhoidal supporting tissue that allows the hemorrhoids to prolapse downward.
