blog

Ectopic pregnancy is a type of pregnancy where the fertilised egg gets implanted outside the uterus. Laparoscopic treatment of Ectopic pregnancy includes a surgery where the surgeon makes a very small incision near the belly button and inserts a laparoscope (a long, thin tube with a tiny camera) and removes the embryo, and then surgically removes one or both damaged fallopian tubes, if required (known as salpingectomy).
