Laparoscopic treatment for stress incontinence

blog

Stress incontinence refers to losing urine involuntarily (unintentionally) due to physical activities or movements that put stress on the bladder. Laparoscopic treatment for stress incontinence involves retropubic colposuspension in which a small incision is made in the abdomen for holding and supporting the tissues present around the neck of the urine bladder. Sutures are attached to bones to ligaments for lifting these support tissues near the neck of the bladder and the upper part of the urethra.
