Laparoscopic Enteric Perforation Repair


Laparoscopic Enteric Perforation Repair is a surgical procedure performed to repair ruptured bowel i.e. enteric or gastrointestinal perforation (a hole developed in the wall of the gastrointestinal tract). In this procedure, the surgeon makes small incisions and explores the site of the operation laparoscopically and repairs the perforation by intracorporeal suturing or knot-tying. This laparoscopic procedure is generally performed along with intravenous (IV) fluids and antibiotics.
