Ilioinguinal Nerve Block /Genitofemoral Nerve Block

Ilioinguinal Nerve/Genitofemoral Nerve Block/Ablation is used to evaluate and manage groin pain by blocking their pain signals. These nerves reach areas of the lower abdomen, scrotum, labia, groin, and inner thigh. This may be due to an injury, trauma, or becoming trapped between muscles or scar tissue, resulting in chronic groin pain. Once the cause of your groin pain is identified by injecting local anesthetic around these nerves, you may be given repeat rounds of injections along with steroids for long term relief.
