Hysteroscopy Removal of Intrauterine contraceptive device


An intrauterine contraceptive device or IUD is placed inside the uterus so that long-term contraception is possible without the more frequently used pills or tablets. In the event someone wants to have a pregnancy, the IUD has to be removed from the uterus. The procedure when done using a hysteroscope is called a Hysteroscopic removal of Intrauterine contraceptive device.
