Duodenal stricture dilation (Endoscopic)


Benign structures observed to form in the duodenum are called duodenal strictures. These outgrowths are often harmless, but can cause blockage of the duodenum in extreme cases, like in the case of Crohn’s disease. The endoscopic approach to open such blockage can be done by the surgical procedure of duodenal stricture dilation.
