Closure of Cholecystocolic Fistula


Cholecystocolic fistula is a rare complication that is a result of gallbladder disease. The clinical presentation of a Cholecystocolic fistula is variable and nonspecific, and the diagnosis is usually made during the intraoperative maneuver. The treatment of choice is a cholecystectomy with the closure of the fistula performed either laparoscopically or an open laparotomy.
